Withdrawal of obsolete taxonomies

The FRC suite of taxonomies was first published in 2014, replacing the UKGAAP and UKIFRS taxonomies that went before (including their Irish cousins IEGAAP and IEIFRS). It is now nearly ten years since these old taxonomies were used in anger, and it's time to put them out to grass...

Consequently, we will be removing support for submission to SureFile on 30th November 2023. It is several years since we received any submissions that use these taxonomies, but we've always kept them around just in case anyone wanted to repair and re-submit any pre-2015 accounts.

Removal won't affect historical Assurance Reports or stored iXBRL accounts - these will still be visible in subscriber accounts, and we'll continue to support earlier versions of the FRC taxonomy suite for many years to come.
